Discover the full story behind Crosmonauts, the flagship universe we conceived, engineered, and launched to demonstrate what a modern Web3 product can be.
The First NFT Collection
In November 2021, Crosmonauts launched one of the very first NFT collections on the Cronos blockchain.
This original collection consists of 1000 unique space-themed avatars, each featuring distinct accessories classified into common, uncommon, rare, and very rare categories. The entire collection sold out within an hour, showcasing strong initial community demand and engagement.
Airdrops, Snapshots & Free Mints
Python scripts were used to record precise snapshots of every wallet holding a NFT at specific timestamps, efficiently capturing ownership states at selected block heights.
Taking this further, free minting functionality was embedded directly into the logic of subsequent smart contracts. Additionally, to recognize early supporters, an NFT collection was created and airdropped to individuals who owned the first collection
ERC-721 Smart Contracts
At the heart of Crosmonauts are five ERC-721 contracts, each purpose-built to handle unique logic — from metadata and rarity attributes that define the game’s characters to on‑chain storage mechanisms that preserve important data directly on the blockchain.
Randomization logic was written into the Solidity contract. This prevented “sniping,” where someone could try to mint rare NFTs by timing or manipulating the process. The ERC‑721 standard used is the industry benchmark for collectible NFTs. It makes possible that every NFT is unique, verifiable, and owned by its holder.
Dynamic mint: ERC-1155 Contract
The Crosmocraft collection marked a milestone as the first dynamic mint launched on the Cronos blockchain. Built on the ERC-1155 token standard, the system introduced a modular and interactive minting experience with the Crosmopart series.
Collectors began by minting or trading individual spaceship parts—Engines, Boosters, and Space Decks. Each part existed in one of three rarity classes: Regular, Rare, or Legendary. This created nine unique part combinations, and players needed to assemble three matching-class components to construct a complete spaceship.
A total of 9,000 parts were released and sold out under a day, enabling the creation of 3,000 Crosmocraft NFT Spaceships. When a spaceship was built, the three underlying parts were permanently destroyed. Every Spaceship NFT serves as a playable avatar in the Crosmoshooter game, visual traits directly influence in-game performance—such as a shield-equipped ship starting with a PowerUp advantage, while a damaged design begins with reduced health.
Artwork
A wide range of artwork was developed to define and strengthen the visual identity of the Crosmonauts universe.
This encompassed 2D avatars, highly detailed 3D character models, and in‑game assets supporting the multiplayer experience. In total more than 6000 unique assets were created.
Beyond the digital realm, real-life items were also designed, such as T-shirts, hoodies, gaming mouse mats, collectible cards and other themed accessories that extended the Crosmonauts identity into the physical world.
Web3 Multiplayer gaming
Crosmoshooter is a web-based game developed using the Phaser 2D framework. Designed with cross-platform performance in mind, it runs on both desktop and mobile devices. The project initially used render.com and mongodb.com and later migrated everything to Amazon Web Services (AWS)
A key part of Crosmoshooter lies in the integration with blockchain technology. Important gameplay data, such as player achievements and in-game upgrades, is securely stored on the blockchain. This approach ensures that all progress is both verifiable and owned by the player. When a player transfers or sells an NFT, the associated upgrades and achievements remain linked to that asset, transferring ownership and value seamlessly to the new holder. This model introduces real digital ownership within the gaming ecosystem.
Networking & Partnerships
Building technology is only half the equation — the other half is building the network around it. Throughout the development and launch of Crosmonauts, we actively engaged with the broader Web3 community to grow awareness, trust, and collaboration.
Actively engaged in live Twitter (X) Spaces, hosting sessions with Elk Finance, Matic News, and other leading industry voices. These live open conversations helped us share insights, gather feedback, and position Crosmonauts as an innovator.
Represented Crosmonauts at NFT NYC, NFT London and Web32 in Belgium, connecting with global creators, developers, and enthusiasts to share perspectives and explore collaboration opportunities.
Partnered with key industry players on Cronos such as Ebisus Bay, expanding our reach and going as far as integrating our project across multiple other platforms. Became one of the first Cronos NFT collections to be officially verified on Crypto.com and won first place in Filebase's Project Showcase.
Explore Crosmonauts
Crosmonauts is the embodiment of what Crosmolabs stands for: technical ability, scalable design, and real-world execution. From launching one of the first Cronos NFT collections to developing an on-chain multiplayer game, we built every layer and proved that innovation isn't just a claim, it's our default setting.
CroDraw
Crosmolabs led both the website and Solidity development for CroDraw, a UK-based blockchain project built with full transparency and auditability in mind.
- Smart contract for verifiable entries and drawings
- Admin tooling for draws and winners
- Clear, maintainable codebase
CroDraw is a UK-based blockchain project built with full transparency and auditability in mind. Crosmolabs led the development of their first website and Solidity development of their Smart Contract, creating a platform that enables verifiable entries and random drawings through custom smart contracts.
Smart Contract Architecture
The platform enables verifiable entries and random drawings through custom smart contracts that manage participants, draws, and winners. Based on our recommendation, the project adopted Witnet Randomness, a decentralized randomness oracle that ensures provable fairness in every draw.
Full-Stack Development
The client supplied the complete design for the platform, while Crosmolabs handled the entire technical implementation—from front‑end integration to on‑chain smart contract logic. We built a clear, maintainable codebase with admin tooling for draws and winners, ensuring the platform remains transparent and auditable.
CroDraw evolved through multiple iterations of both the website and smart contracts, with continuous improvements and new features added throughout the project. This iterative approach allowed us to respond effectively to evolving client needs.
Witnet Foundation
We applied for a Witnet Foundation Grant and were successfully awarded funding, recognizing CroDraw as a project that actively advances the use of verifiable randomness.
Witnet is a decentralized oracle network that connects smart contracts to real‑world data in a secure, trust‑minimized way. Its randomness service generates unbiased, verifiable random numbers directly on‑chain, making it ideal for applications like lotteries, NFT mints, and gaming. By eliminating centralized points of control, Witnet enhances fairness and auditability across blockchain projects.
The sponsorship highlighted CroDraw as an innovative example of transparency and fairness within the Cronos ecosystem.

CroDraw demonstrates Crosmolabs' ability to deliver end-to-end blockchain solutions that prioritize transparency, fairness, and verifiable randomness—essential qualities for any platform handling draws and competitions.
Discord Tools
Development of production-ready Discord bots to automate workflows and enable token-gated experiences.
- Discord, roles and channels setup
- Role sync, moderation, onboarding
- Token-gated channels with wallet verification
Token-Gated Access
We implement token-gated access systems that connect wallet verification with Discord user permissions. This setup ensures that only verified token holders can access specific channels or features, enabling secure and exclusive spaces within your community. Depending on your needs we integrate proven third‑party tools or a system unique for your project can be made.
Minting and Sales Bots
Beyond community management, we offer minting and sales bots that send real-time alerts to a Discord channel. These alerts automatically notify your community when an NFT is minted or sold. This keeps your audience engaged and informed, turning every transaction into a moment of interaction.
Whether you want to track primary sales, secondary marketplace activity, or custom contract events, we configure each bot to match your collection logic and ecosystem. Integrating these alerts builds momentum within your community, helping drive engagement and maintain excitement around ongoing project growth.
Website Monitoring
We provide continuous website monitoring with automated downtime alerts to ensure your project remains online at all times. Our monitoring system tracks uptime and performance, detecting interruptions the moment they occur.
When an issue is detected, alerts are sent through your preferred communication channel, whether by email, Telegram, Discord, or WhatsApp, so your team can respond without delay and maintain platform availability.
